In 2024, Malaysia was featured in a joint report by the World Bank and WHO on Behavioural
Science Around the World Volume III: Public Health. The report recognises Malaysia as one of
the few countries globally to establish a Behavioural Insights Unit dedicated to applying
behavioural science in public health (21).
