5. Purchase a travel insurance of USD20,000 minimum coverage for short term visitors (including
business and official travellers).
Fully vaccinated short term travellers from Singapore with the following status are exempted
from the insurance policy requirement.
(i) Singapore/ Malaysia citizens,
(ii) Singapore/ Malaysia Permanent Residents and
(iii) Long-Term Pass Holders in Malaysia/ Singapore
6. Valid national passport or internationally recognised travel document before departing for
Malaysia.
7. Has a valid visa to enter Malaysia (if required).
8. Take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test two days before departure and upload the test result in MySejahtera
the moment you receive it.
*Travellers from Singapore by air can take a professionally administered or supervised COVID-19
antigen rapid test. Travellers from Singapore by land do not need to take any test.
**Travellers who were detected positive between 6 – 60 days before arrival should take a professionally
administered or supervised COVID-19 antigen rapid test.
***Virtually supervised antigen rapid tests are permitted on condition that they are supervised by a
registered medical practitioner on a ‘live’ virtual platform and an official test result is produced to be
uploaded in MySejahtera
