01 What must an individual do to enter Malaysia?
1.
Download, register and activate the MySejahtera App.
2. Fill up corresponding details, including travel and vaccination information in MySejahtera under
the Traveller icon.
a. Complete the Pre-departure Form (click the Travel For xxx (name of the traveller)
under the ‘Traveller’ icon in MySejahtera application and upload the results of RT-PCR
or Professional RTK-Ag (for travellers with recent post-COVID infection or travellers
from Singapore) test done within 2 days prior to departure.
b. Upon submission of Pre-Departure Form and upload of the pre-departure test, a
BLUE Travellers card (if fully vaccinated) or a RED Travellers card (if unvaccinated/
partially vaccinated) will appear on the app. Fully vaccinated travellers from Singapore
who travel into Malaysia via land at least three (3) times in a week, will receive a PURPLE
Frequent Travellers Card.
c. Travellers with a PURPLE Frequent Travellers Card are advised to refill and resubmit
their pre-departure form every seven days in order to renew their cards.
3. If you are travelling with dependents, fill up their details as well after you have added them under
“Manage Dependents” and “Vaccine Dependent”. (Please refer to the guide on how to fill up
MySejahtera).
4. Verify your digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate on mysafetravel@gov.my (for digital vaccine
certificates issued overseas).
