07 ARRIVAL IN MALAYSIA

What documents do I need to prepare upon arrival in Malaysia?
At immigration, travellers must present to the immigration officer:
• A valid national passport or internationally recognised travel document
• A valid visa (for visa-required travellers);
• Boarding pass; and
• Traveller’s Card display in MySejahtera app
2. Do travellers need a return or onwards flight ticket to enter Malaysia?
Yes. All foreign travellers are required to have a confirm return ticket unless he/she is
a Malaysian Permanent Resident, entry permit holder/the holder of long term pass
issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
3. Can transfer/transit passengers travel to Malaysia?
Yes
4. Do travellers need to show any proof of accommodation?
No
5. Do travellers need to apply for MyTravelPass (MTP) to travel to Malaysia?
No. Travellers do not need to apply for MTP.
6. Are there any other submission of health declaration, travel and accommodation
details required by Malaysia upon arrival?
No. All the information is to be submitted in the MySejahtera app prior to departure to Malaysia.
