MISSION
The National Health Literacy Policy aims to enhance the level of
health literacy among the Malaysian inclusively by strengthening
competencies in accessing health information, understanding,
appraising and taking actions for well-being.
This policy is committed to strengthen the governance of
Malaysia’s health literacy ecosystem across agencies through a
“Whole-of-Nation” approach.
It prioritizes commitments to improve the comprehensive VISION
implementation mechanisms of health literacy initiatives.
