I support the development of the National Health Literacy
Policy (DLKK) as a guide to systematically address the

multidimensionality of health literacy in our society. By
consolidating efforts from government agencies, civil
society organisations and the community at large, we
can develop tailored interventions and initiatives that
effectively promote health literacy for target groups.

The development of DLKK underscores Malaysia’s
commitment to increase health literacy and foster a
culture that promotes the people’s health and well-
being. Let us make health literacy the cornerstone of
our national agenda.
