RATIONAL
Establishing an integrated smart system that tracks health literacy data among different
stakeholders in government, private sector, non-governmental organizations, and community.
Key data are identified, collected, stored, analyzed, and shared in an open-source database
to encourage alignment and collaboration among diverse parties. This system will leverage
artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure data can be utilized for prediction and planning, making
it a valuable source for designing and exploring initiatives and programs that can enhance
health literacy. The collection of resources, expertise sharing, and coordinated efforts to
improve health literacy outcomes will contribute to better health outcomes for individuals and
communities.
The integrated smart system will generate a “national health literacy profile” by combining
indicators from various agencies and sectors. This will lead to improvements in the
effectiveness of health information dissemination, foster strategic collaboration among
agencies, facilitate coordination and communication among entities within the system, thereby
enhancing the efficiency of health program implementation.
DESIRED RESULTS
The integrated and intelligent health literacy data system involves a system capable of
gathering data from various stakeholders and serving as a source or database for decision-
making. This system will encourage collaborative cooperation, coordinated efforts, efficient
resource utilization, as well as better policy alignment and health decision-making. It will
foster an ecosystem that supports stakeholders in working together to promote health
literacy and empower individuals and communities to make informed health decisions.
